Mr. Durwood Sauls, age 59 of Kirkmansville, passed away on Tuesday, December 11th in Scottsboro, Alabama of natural causes. He was born September 7, 1959 in Pinetops, North Carolina the son of Howard Ivey and Anzelen Juanita McCoy Sauls. He was a truck driver for Carver Trucking.

He loved his family, truck driving, horseback riding, his tractor and Nascar. He was preceded in death by his father Howard Sauls. He is survived by his wife Rita Sauls of Kirkmansville; one son Billy Wayne Johnson (Samantha) of Elkton; three daughters Bobbi Jo Allegood (Brian) of Nashville, Tonja West (Glenn) of Pembroke and Angela Hake of Elkton; his mother Juanita Sauls of Elkton; two brothers Jimmy Sauls and Buck Sauls (Darlene) both of North Carolina; one sister Sandy Harrison (Dee) of North Carolina and eight grandchildren.

Visitation with the Sauls family will be on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Friday at 11:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Henn officiating.

Interment will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville with military rites. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Todd County Funeral Home to assist in funeral expenses.
