Earl S. “Bobby” Elmer, 84 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 at home. A lifelong resident of Cecil County, he was born in North East, on September 5, 1934, the son of the late John B. Sr. and Ethel (Ward) Elmer. He was the husband of the late Jane Louise Elmer who passed September 5, 1998.

Prior to his retirement, Bobby worked at the Chesapeake House. He also worked as an assembler at RMR. A member of Elkton Church of the Nazarene, he enjoyed bowling, playing the guitar and country music.

Bobby is survived by a brother: Douglas W. Elmer of North East, MD and a sister: Judy Elmer of Rising Sun, MD. In addition to his wife and parents, Bobby was also preceded by two siblings: John Elmer and Dorothy Elmer. Funeral service, conducted by Rev.

James Moyers will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
