Obituary for Earl Franklin Davis Earl Franklin “Frank” Davis Went home to be with his lord on Friday August 31, 2018 at Parkside Nursing Home where he had been a resident for the past few years. He was a lifelong resident of the Rossville area. He was a master cabinet builder and loved fishing.

He was a devoted Grandfather, and nothing delighted him more than visits with his grandchildren on Saturday morning. He was preceded in death by his parents Eunice Julia Cherry Davis and Earl Davis; Sisters, Dorothy Reynolds Carr, Ruth Fackler-Crews. June French, and Myra Varnon: Brothers, Forrest Davis, and Marshall Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Shelva Davis; Daughters, Tonjia (Darrell) Vaughn, and Julia (Chris) Newell; Grandchildren, Joshua Vaughn, Jason (Paula) Vaughn, Jessica (Matt) Silvers, and Jeremy Newell; Great Grandchildren, Sarah Pimentel, Dakota Vaughn, and Knox Silvers; sister, Mary Davis Swain, along with several nieces and nephews. Abiding to his wishes, there will be no services held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Tapestry Hospice, or any Humane Society of your choice.
