Earl Lee Montgomery, age 55, of Philippi, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at his home. He was born July 18, 1963, in Buckhannon, WV a son of Gregory Montgomery of Buckhannon and Kathleen Parks Nestor of Walkertown, NC. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by two sisters: Joy and husband Matthew Morrison of Walkertown, NC and Deedee and husband Gary McKnight of Meadow Bridge, WV; two nieces Devin and Hannah Morrison; one nephew Caleb Morrison of North Carolina; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Earl and Ruth Montgomery and his maternal grandparents Ira and Edith Parks. Earl was a 1981 graduate of Buckhannon Upshur High School and was self employed. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
