OBITUARY Earl Warren Ryburn, Sr. November 19, 1944 – August 30, 2018 Play Tribute Movie EARL WARREN RYBURN, age 73, of San Antonio, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday August 30, 2018 at 11:51 PM. Earl was born November 19, 1944 in Chillicothe, Missouri to Audrey B. Price & Edward C. Ryburn. He is survived by his mother, 97; his wife, Young Soon Ryburn; his first wife, Charlotte Bullock; his four children and their spouses, and his nine grandchildren: Tana K. Brady, husband Patrick, and daughters Sarah, Katie, and Caraline; Earl W. Ryburn, Jr. and his wife Michelle; Rebecca A. Plante, husband Daniel, and daughters Julia, Eva, Sophia, and Emma; Sandra K. Linerode, husband Colin, son Philip Warren and daughter Audrey; and his sister, Shirley I. Worrell.

He is preceded in death by his father Edward; his step-father Clenard R. Price; and his brother Larry E. Ryburn. A special thank you to Brenda Lamb Gunderson (niece) and husband Chris; and Robert Lamb (nephew) and wife Kimberley for representing all extended family who could not be in attendance at Earl’s Celebration of Life ceremony but send their love and condolences. Earl was the son of a traveling minister.

He loved Jesus with all of his heart, soul, and mind; and he loved his family and friends. He helped to lead the Deaf Ministry at Northern Hills Methodist Church in San Antonio where he supported his pastors, Sam Carpenter and James Williams. He was very involved in the deaf community and delighted in teaching sign language to those who wanted to learn.

He enjoyed fishing, cars, woodworking, and all forms of handywork. Most importantly, his biggest heart was for his family, whom he loved dearly. His kind, gentle, yet powerful presence is certainly missed, but we do not grieve as those who have no hope, as we know he is in the presence of Jesus and we are looking forward to seeing him again in Heaven.

A visitation for Earl will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Rd, Universal City, TX 78148, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
