Brown, Jr. of Selma, AL, passed away January 25, 2019 at the age of 75. He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Henry Brown, Sr. and mother, Marjorie R. Wilcox Brown Ellis. Earnest was a veteran in peace time and the Vietnam era.

He served in the Air Force from January 3, 1963 to December 12, 1966 and received an honorable discharge. He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Brown; sons, Johnny (Christine) Brown and Jeff Brown; grandchildren, Rebecca Brown and John W. Brown; in-laws; nieces and nephews, and his caregiver, Cynthia Reynolds. The family will hold a private service at a later date.
