Obituary for Earnie M. Dotson Earnie M. Dotson, 87, of Alkol, WV died Saturday, January 12, 2019 in Bridgeport Hospital after a short illness. Earnie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, and cherished friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was a member of The Community Gospel Church of Jesus, Woodville, WV. She was preceded in death by her first husband Arthur Thomas Johnson, second husband Jackie Dean Dotson; son Danny Ray Johnson; parents Addison and Ida Payne. She is survived by sons, Lawrence (Lenda) Johnson of Woodville, and Ronnie Johnson of Alkol; daughter-in-law, Ruth Johnson-Spuduck of Alkol; grandchildren, Scottie Johnson of Woodville, Randy (Dee) Johnson of Woodville, Paul (Kelly) Johnson of Grandy, NC, Chris Johnson of Oklahoma, Misty Johnson of Charleston, and Andrea Johnson of Charleston; three great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild; and special adopted grandson, Jason Adkins of Spence, WV.

She is also survived by sisters, Margaret Stowers of Georgia and Glenna Egnor of Ohio; along with several nieces and nephews. Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 15 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Pastor Larry Sperry officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
