Mr. Eddie Clark Boyles, age 72, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at his residence. He was born on October 14, 1946 to the late Marion Hamilton and Helen “Kate” Kiser Boyles. Mr. Boyles is loved and missed by all of his surviving family; one son and daughter-n-law, Michael (Tiffany) Boyles, one brother; Craig (Debbie) Boyles, two grandchildren; Luke Boyles and Mazie Boyles; special friend, Jerrelene Hulse.

He served in the United States Army for 2 years and fought in the Vietnam War. He received the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Combat Infantrymans Badge. He was preceded in death by his loving parents; Marion Hamilton and Helen “Kate” Kiser Boyles, grandson; Michael Jordan Boyles.

A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Brims Grove Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Gerald Jones officiating. Interment will follow Volunteer Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors provided by the NC National Guard, Mount Airy VFW Post #2019 and Pilot Mountain VFW Post 9436. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 12 PM to 1 PM at Brims Grove Baptist Church.
