Eddie Ray Green was born on April 25, 1956, in Deland Florida to the late Raymond and Bernice Harrison Green. He attended Umatilla High School in Umatilla, Florida. He was a member of Jerusalem Worship Center (JWC) before relocating to Tampa, Florida.

He became a member of Grace Mary MB Church, under the leadership of Elder Thomas J Reed. Ray enjoyed spending time with family, friends and riding his motorcycle. On Thursday, January 10, 2019 God Called his spirit home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Bernice Harrison Green; siblings, Emma Jean Young, Rosa Lee Cook, Michael Lee Green and John Edward Green; son, Franklin Deon Robinson. Left to cherish his memories his wife of 18 years, Katrina Green; daughters, Tresa Shorts and Nekeisha Robinson; sons, John Jenkins, Jr. and Cornelius Hatchett; godsons, Darius Pugh, Antonio Livingston and Reggie Leggin; grandchildren, Walter, Tamara, Trinity and Justice of Umatilla, Florida, John III and JonQuez Jenkins of Tampa, Florida, Ariyana and Cornelius Hatchett, Jr., Maryland, Zatavieion, Diyamond, Gloria, Kendall, Kavon, Chance and Franklin Robinson Jr. all of Tampa, Florida; siblings, Raymond Green, Jr. (Rene), Norman Green, Sr. (Barbara), Willie Green, Sr. and Gail Green Inmon (Earl); special friend, James Gatson; and a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends, church family and friends of Jerusalem Worship Center and Grace Mary Missionary Baptist Church.
