OBITUARY Eddie Ray Sullivan Sr. February 4, 1947 – January 8, 2019 Eddie Ray “Butch” Sullivan Sr., 71 of Hernshaw, passed away Tuesday January 8, 2019 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. Butch was born in Charleston on February 4, 1947 to the late Donald & Louise Lane Sullivan. He was retired from Plastic Sales in North Charleston, he served on the Marmet Fire Department for many years and loved to fish, hunt and doing Horse Shows.

He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the VFW Post 8363 in Chesapeake. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Kathleen; sons, Eddie R. Sullivan Jr. of Campbell’s Creek and Greg L. “Long Hair” Sullivan of Williams Mountain; grandkids, Colton Sullivan of Racine, Cody, John Camron & Clayton Sullivan all of Danville, granddaughter, Hali Chyann Sullivan of Danville; brothers, Jerry Sullivan of Charleston, David Mike Sullivan of Hurricane and Doug Sullivan of Marmet; sister, Virginia Mae Bennett of Evans; one fur baby granddaughter, Roxie and several nieces & nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday November 11, 2019 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Pastor Frank Thomas officiating. Burial with Military Rites will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. A visitation with family and friends will be held from 11:00 AM until service time on Friday at the Funeral Home.
