Edgar Elwood Bruce, Jr., 57, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Owensboro on March 12, 1962 to the late Edgar Elwood, Sr. and Mary Alice Weatherford Bruce. Edgar attended Pleasant Valley Community Church.

He enjoyed fishing and driving semi-trucks. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Ziehr Bruce, granddaughter, Angelica Oliveros, and his sister, Eva Carol Lancaster. Edgar is survived by his daughters, Alicia Rodriguez, Ashley Ziehr, Allyson Ziehr; his sons, Adam Ziehr, Andrew Ziehr, all of Owensboro; his sisters, Edwina Istre, of Owensboro, Marie Stites of Henderson, his brother, Archie Bruce, of Michigan, and several nieces and nephews Service times are pending.
