Obituary for Edith “Edie” Jewel Williams Edith “Edie” Jewel Williams passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at Deaconess. She was born April 11, 1950, in Posey County, IN, to the late Eldon Williams and Loretta (Spore) Deischer. Edie was of Christian Faith.

She enjoyed playing Clabber; loved to travel and liked family camping trips. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Barbara and Tom. Edith is survived by son, Brad Hooker (Missi); siblings, Linda Rainey, Gary Williams (Marie), Joyce Albers (Jerry), & Debbie Campbell (Tom); and several nieces and nephews, Rebecca Harvey, Dwayne Mossberger, Greg, Craig and Chris Gray, Linda Williams, Vicki Mere, Chris Campbell, and Jackie Williams; special great niece and caregiver, Camille.

A Celebration of Life was held Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Murphy Park, 1014 Main Street, New Harmony, Indiana. The family would like to invite you to the interment at Maumee Cemetery on October 26, 2018 at 4pm.
