Obituary of Edith Robinson Edith Robinson of Wilmington, DE passed away on Sunday July 1, 2018 at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. Born August 1, 1921 in Woodlyn, PA, she was just one month from her 97th birthday. Edith was a devoted mother to her 3 sons and a loving wife to William Sr. for over 30 years.
“Aunt Ede” was beloved by many nieces and nephews as well. In her career, Edith was the trusted lead secretary for the West Chester University Music Department for two decades. After that, she enjoyed many years as a Personal Companion for a prominent local family.
The oldest member of Siloam Methodist Church, Edith enjoyed participating in Bible Study, taking long walks, learning to paint and playing with her great grandchildren. Edith is preceded in death by her sons William Jr. and Gary Robinson. She is survived by her son Steven Robinson, 2 granddaughters Jill (Kurt) Darrenkamp and Laura (Jesse) Horst and 5 great grandchildren Alexandria, Beaux, Tyler, Ben and Phillip.
A viewing will be held Thursday July 12, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Pagano Funeral Home 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA. The service will begin at 2:00 with a burial at Siloam Methodist Church immediately following. Flowers may be sent to Pagano Funeral Home.
