OBITUARY Edward A Guest June 9, 1932 – September 19, 2018 Edward A Guest, 86, of Goose Creek passed away Wednesday September 19, 2018. Edward was born June 9, 1932 in Stanton, NJ to the late Ernest Merrell and Edna Mary Stout Guest. He was an avid Master Gardener and woodworker, a 50 year Mason and an original member of Goose Creek Masonic Lodge 401, and a member of The American Legion Post 166 in Goose Creek.

He was a retired US Navy veteran as a Interior Communications Electrician with 21 years of service. He was a jack of all trades. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Joan Guest, 4 sons and 4 daughter-in-laws, James Guest (Janice) of Goose Creek, daughter-in-law Debbie Guest of Beckley, WV, George Guest of Goose Creek, Wayne Guest (Sharon) of North Charleston, and Edward Guest Jr. (Stacey) of Ladson , 6 grandchildren, Nicole Guest of Beckley, WV, Brandon Guest of Pinopolis, SC, Cameron Guest (Alexandra) of Georgetown, TX, Catherine Guest of Ladson, Kristina Guest of Holly Hill, and Wade Guest of North Charleston, 5 great-grandchildren, Noah Guest, Mikaella Degner, Samuel Kelly, Aliyah, and Abigail Guest.

He is predeceased by a son, Gerald Louis Guest, and one granddaughter, Kaylin Guest. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 22, 2018, from 10 am to 11 am at Peace Presbyterian Church, 174 Londonderry Rd, Goose Creek, SC 29445. Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 11 am with Navy military honors and Masonic services.
