Edward D. Kline, age 89, of Berlin, Ohio went Home to be with the Lord after a brief time of declining health on Friday, November 30, 2018, at Sycamore Run nursing home in Millersburg, OH. Edward was born on April 7, 1929 to the late Dan and Sarah (Schlabach) Kline. He is survived by a sister, Mattie (Dan) Yoder; brother-in-law, Roy Mast; and 6 nieces and 9 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Sarah Kline, brothers, Alvin and Levi Kline, sisters, Anna (Kline) Mast, Amanda (Kline) Schlabach, niece Betty Kline and a nephew Allan Mast. Ed worked at Kline Lumber, Rite Way Manufacturing and Yoder Lumber Co where he took care of the dry Kilns. He was a member of Berlin Mennonite Church.

He had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and traveling with his friends. Ed was also a very skilled gunsmith who had great talent in fixing, modifying and even manufacturing guns. He also did trapshooting his whole life where he developed many lasting friendships.

Friends may call on Sunday, Dec 2nd from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Family services and burial will be on Monday Dec 3rd prior to the public service at 10:30 am all at Berlin Mennonite Church in Berlin, OH Alexander funeral home will be handling the arrangements.
