Mr. Edward E. Scott, 62, of Belton, SC, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Blue Ridge Healthcare in Morganton. Mr. Scott was born August 19, 1956 in Anderson, SC, the son of the late Virgil Scott and Catherine Richardson Scott. He had worked as an upholster for Hickory Chair, Charles & Stewert, and Ollis Woodworks.

He was of the Baptist faith and a former member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Including his parents, he was preceded in death by: by his wife, Judy Scott; a sister, Margaret Scott; two brothers, Kenneth Scott and Stan Scott.

Those left to cherish his memory include: three sons, Reginald Scott and wife, Amber, of Winston-Salem, Virgil Christopher Scott, Steven Scott of Winston-Salem; two sisters, Patricia Scott of Belton, SC, Shirley Wright of Anderson, SC; a grandchild, Logan Scott. The family will conduct a memorial service at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
