Passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on July 20, 2018, at age 86. Brother of the late Mary Joan Gormley. Beloved husband for 50 years of the late Marion Gormley.

Devoted partner of Millie Tohey. Cherished father of Joan Gormley (VA), Marian Gormley (VA), Paul Gormley (CT), and Jerome Gormley (CA). Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Jamie, Jake and Tara.

Great-grandfather of Zion, Zeke, Hazel, and the late Orion. Edward was born in McKees Rocks to Edward Gormley Sr. and Jane Reinsel Gormley. He was employed in the HVAC field at Johnson Controls Company and Robertshaw Controls.

He operated his own company, SPECS Inc., as an HVAC engineer. Edward was devoted to his family, his 50-year marriage to Marion, and his service in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Family and friends will be received at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes 222 Washington Rd.

Mt. Lebanon, PA 15216. on Monday July 23, 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Winifred Church, Tuesday morning, at 10:30 a.m.(Everyone Please Meet at Church) Interment will follow at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery (North Side Catholic Cemetery).
