Edward L. LaBarre, 72, of Tall Timber Trail, died November 13, 2018 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Pamela (Hosmer) LaBarre whom he married August 29, 1970. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Laurence and Julia (Smith) LaBarre.

Mr. LaBarre worked as a truck driver for Ryder Truck Rental and Tresca Brothers Concrete. Edward also proudly served for thirty-seven years with the Army National Guard and as a volunteer for the Nasonville Fire Dept. He enjoyed bike riding, boating and water skiing.

Besides his wife Pamela, he is survived by a son, William LaBarre and his fiancée Susan Sylvestre of Woonsocket; a daughter, Becky Bajo of Woonsocket; three grandchildren, Cody and Andrew Ottaviano and Kaylee Sylvestre; and two great grandchildren, Dominic and Liam Ottaviano. His funeral will be held Sunday, November 18, 2018 beginning with visitation at 2 PM followed by a service at 5 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors, will be Monday, November 19 at 11AM in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter.
