Edward Vernon Walls, Sr., age 96, died May 6, 2019 at Dock Woods Community, Lansdale, PA. Born February 8, 1923 in Towamencin Twp. to Frank and Helen Walls.

Graduated Lansdale High School where he was on the Cross Country and Track Teams and the Boxing Team. A lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lansdale. After School, he enlisted in the Navy in 1942 and was an Electirician’s Mate 3/C on a Subchaser during WWII.

Discharged November 21, 1945. He married Evelyn A. Schuster on November 19, 1944, and started a family. He loved to travel and take cruises.

Employed by PECO for over 30 years and retired early. Started Lansdale Camping Center in early 60’s, retiring a second time in 1998. Was active in American Legion Post 206 Lansdale and North Penn Elks Lodge 1979.

Preceded in death by his wife Evelyn and son Edward V., Jr. Survived by daughters; Patricia K. Walls and Tom Leightner, Donna Olson (Rich), son Richard D. (Doris). Grandchildren; Leif Olson (Brenda), Kevin Poling, Mindy Walls. Great-grandchildren; Harmony and Wylie Olson.

Interment Private. Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service, Thursday, May 16 from 10 until 10:45 a.m. in Living Branches Chapel, 275 Dock Drive, Lansdale followed by Service at 10:45 a.m. Arr. Shelly-Dinan Funeral Home, Lansdale.
