Edward Lee Wimer, 74, husband of Lula Starr Wimer, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2019. He was born in Frank, West Virginia on February 26, 1944 to the late Ernest and Lona K. Helmick Wimer. He worked for the Kentucky State Police in the Maintenance Department and was a member of New Life Worship Center.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, David Thomas Wimer, Georgetown; his sister, Loretta Desper, Delaware; and his grandchildren, Breann, Jacob, Hallie, Holden, Jordan, and Kyden Wimer. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Rev.

Gene Roberts will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
