Obituary of Edward Henken Edward Henken (age 90) entered into rest on September 14, 2018 in Bellingham, WA. He was born on December 22, 1927 in Bellingham, WA to Albert and Elena (Bouwman) Henken. Edward graduated from Nooksack Valley in 1945 and entered the Army serving his country in Korea for two years.

Following his military service, Edward work for 27 years at Intalco. Edward was an avid bowler and enjoyed golf. He spent most of his spare time at the Bellingham Senior Center getting to know as many as he could.

He will be most remembered for his entertainment of people with all his stories. He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Aldophson; sons, Brad Henken; Jeff Henken; three grandchildren, Amber, Carl and Bryan; three great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Jordan, Ben and one brother Ernest. A Celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 2 until 4 pm at Cornwall Park Church of God at the Loft 4518 Northwest Dr. WA 98226.
