Edwar Hutty Jr , February 20, 1963 — February 26, 2019

Obituary for Edward Hutty Jr. Edward Hutty, Jr. was born on February 20, 1963 to Edward (deceased) and Patricia Hutty in Philadelphia, PA. He most recently resided in New Brunswick, NJ. On Tuesday February 26, 2019, Eddie peaceful passed away at home in the company of his loving family.

At 18 months of age, Eddie was able to put together large-piece puzzles and take apart toy cars quietly for long periods of time without moving. At the suggestion of his father’s colleague, Eddie used those skilled hands to begin to learn his craft in electrical trade at Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School, which he graduated in 1981. On July 14, 1986, Eddie went on to complete his 4 year Apprenticeship under the sponsorship of Electricians Local IBEW 456 where he worked and enjoyed his job for over 30 years.

Eddie worked with professionalism, integrity and camaraderie with his local members. In 2017, he hung up his tools and retired as an electrician and from the local that he loved IBEW 456. Eddie was not one for many words, but the words spoken were meant and listened to.

He was generous with a dry sarcastic wit who loved spending time with his family, movies, traveling, Football Sunday. Eddie would lovingly send “just because cards” to his mother out of his love for her. Eddie was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1982.

Although, Eddie was not actively practicing his faith, he still expressed belief in Jehovah. Eddie is survived by his loving mother Patricia; wife Sharon; sons Quinten, Sean, Ha-mil, and stepson Kenyun; sisters Adrienne, Leslie and Dorothy; loving niece Danine, daughter-in-law Tiffany; grandchildren Leilani, Tay-Saighn, step grandson Tay-Vaughn; best friends and brothers Michael and Butch Armstrong, Arthur (Art) Jackson and Louis Gunn. Dear Aunt and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Eddie was so grateful for all of the love and support he received from so many…and so are we. May our sadness and grief encourage us to reflect on our own lives. Revelation 21:4 promises a time with no more sorrow, pain or tears.
