Effie Lee Goins, age 94 of LaFollette departed this life Monday, September 24, 2018. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Effie enjoyed attending church, listening to gospel music, and preaching.

She is preceded in death by husband Hubert Goins; parents Charlie and Lula (Hubbard) Ivey; brothers Joe, Troy, Luther, Jay, and George Ivey; sisters Mande Miller, Ann Ivey, and Ethel Ivey. She is survived by daughter Bessie Lee & husband George of LaFollette; grandchildren Shelia and Mark Greer of Houston, Texas; great grandchild Jim Greer; 4 great-great grandchildren. Visitation for Effie will be 1 – 2 PM Thursday, September 27, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home.
