Elaine Jean Fausnight Wendle, age 73, of Etowah, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at her home. She lived in Etowah a year. Most of her adult life was spent in Lakeland, FL.

She was of the Mormon faith; she was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints in Athens, TN. She graduated from Lake High School in Hartville, OH. on May 25, 1964.

Graduated Practical Nursing School in Great Falls, MT. in 1968 and worked as a nurse (LPN) for years retiring in 2016. She was married twice 1st: David L. Evans, 2nd.

John Wendle. Proceeded in death by her father: Harvey J. Fausnight, mother: Dorothy L. Dodd Fausnight, brother: James Fausnight, sister: Kathleen Carnahan. Survivors include her daughter: Elizabeth Anne and son-in-law: Brent Parrish, both of Sweetwater, sister: Mary Lou Toole, brother-in-law: David Toole of Minerva, OH, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted on Friday, May 17, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. in Kyker’s Chapel with Bishop: Craig Laing officiating. Interment to follow in the Forkner’s Chapel Cemetery. Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, in charge of arrangements.
