Obituary for Mrs. Elaine Marie Lach Elaine Lach was lovingly called home on Oct. 11, 2018. She was born in Littlefork, Minnesota to Oscar and Selma (Kleppe) Crandall.

She graduated from Littlefork, Big-Falls High. On April 7, 1956 she married Chuck Greenlee. They raised four children in New Brighton, MN.

Elaine spent her years as an administrative secretary for several hospitals. On December 28, 1991 she married Harry Lach, and from that day a beautiful journey in life began. They had a cottage in Grand Rapids which was always open to family gatherings.

They lived in Lillian, Alabama for several years. They joined the church there and enjoyed being involved in many church activities and making many friends. Eventually they moved back to Minnesota to be closer to family where they reside still.

Elaine enjoyed cooking and looking for new recipes, enjoying nature, reading, and playing cards with Harry. They always enjoyed traveling to all the children and grandchildren. She also loved making beautiful quilts to share with family.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, sister Carole Bunes, brother in law Oris Bunes, and grandson Brooks Greenlee. She is survived by her husband Harry, children Vickie (Ken) Shearer, Rick (Karen) Greenlee, Lon (Melissa) Greenlee, Wade (Renea) Greenlee, Denise (Rob) Pabst, Debra Lach, Bruce (Mary) Lach, Laura (Chuck) Seymour, Sue (Jerry) Donovan, sister Sally (Greg) Anderson, twenty-one grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Fairview Hospital, and also the caring staff at Aurora on France.
