OBITUARY Elaine S. White May 8, 1934 – October 20, 2018 Elaine White, loving and devoted mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 20, 2018. She was born in Denver, Colorado on May 8, 1934. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William White, her daughter-in-law Kathryn White and brother-in-law Ed Uehling.

She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Wendy (Richard) Rice; son Ed White; four grandsons Rick Rice, Michael (Jamie) Rice, their daughters Vivian and Rose, Joe (Rachel) Rice and Justin White; sister Sonja Uehling, nieces, nephews, other extended family members and many treasured friends. Elaine attended school in Denver, Colorado and graduated from Lakewood High School. After graduation she met and married a handsome Air Force Captain and moved to Texas.

After following her husband to many small Texas towns, they settled in El Paso. She worked at Eastwood High School for 22 years in the Attendance Office where she made many friends and memories. She was an active member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the nurses at Del Sol Hospital, Dr. Maria Aloba, and Global Hospice. We are eternally grateful. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke UMC, 9915 Montwood 79925 or to Global Hospice, 1817 Wyoming 79903.
