Elaine Seiler age 80 of Upper Sandusky, died on Friday Feb. 22, 2019 in Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born September 12, 1938 in Upper Sandusky the daughter of Louis and Florence (Stephan) Gohl, who preceded her in death.

She married Dale Kear on Feb. 1955 and he preceded her in death on April of 1969. Elaine married Homer Seiler Jr. on March 1973 and he preceded her in death on October 1 of 1997.

Surviving our her two daughters Barbara (Paul) Smigielski of Sylvania, Laura (Denny) Young of Nevada, son David (Tina) Kear of Upper Sandusky, grandchildren Tonya Gore, Greg Young, Jeremiah Tesnow, great grandson Milo Young, four step great grandchildren, two step great great grandchildren and brother Leroy (Sheryl) Gohl of Upper Sandusky. Elaine worked as a bartender for the Aliba Room for 25 years and retired from the American Legion. She was a member of Big Oak Church.

Elaine was a member of American Legion Post #225, Women of the Moose, VFW Post #2842, Eagles #2184. For hobbies she enjoyed gardening, playing the piano and organ. She was an animal lover and gave her attention to her birds, cats and dogs.

Visitation will be Monday February 25, 2019 from 5pm-7pm in Bringman Clark Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday February 26, 2019 at 11am in Old Mission Cemetery with Dennis Livingston officiating with additional visitation before the service 10am-10:45am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers those wishing to send an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Hospice of Wyandot County in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave.
