Elda (Reba) Higgins, 98, of Holden, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Harmony Gardens Senior Living Center, Warrensburg, Missouri. Reba was born November 14, 1920 in Bowen, Missouri, the daughter of Hershel and Sella (Smith) Campbell. Reba lived in the Holden area most of her life.

Reba was united in marriage to Irvine Higgins in Centerview, Missouri on April 12, 1941. Reba was employed for 29 years as a Bookkeeper for Heet Gas Company in Holden, Missouri. Reba was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Sella (Smith) Campbell; her husband Irvine Higgins; one son, Jimmie Don Higgins; one daughter, Connie Graham; two sisters, Lavina Gehrig and Wilma Daugherty.

She is survived by four grandchildren, Debbie Hill and husband Ken; Jim Snare and wife Dawn; Becky Snare and Michael Higgins; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers include, Jarrod Schwartz; Parker Schwartz; Michael Daugherty; John Anstine; Michelle Guinn and Larry Atkins. Visitation 10:00-11:00 am on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, Funeral Services will follow the Visitation, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Campbell – Cast Funeral Home (formerly Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home), 407 South Pine, Holden MO 64040 with Pastor Roger Morris officiating.
