Obituary for Eleanor K. Blanc Eleanor K. Blanc, 90, of Alliance, died on December 31, 2015 at 3:55 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born on March 11, 1925 in Alliance to Elbert and Elsie (McKim) Wimer. She worked at Taylorcraft during the war and had retired from the Twinsburg Chrysler Plant where she worked on the line.

In her past-time, she enjoyed word puzzles and word games. She is survived by her daughters, Sherida (Robert) Sponseller of Alliance, Linda (Arthur) Jenkins of Suffield and Barbara Ragucci of Chippewa Lake; a son, Thomas (Ann) Hesson of Lakewood, NY; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Wimer of Florida and a half brother, John Vrzak of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Eugene Blanc in 1981; her parents; brothers, Charles and Harold and sisters, Doris and Rosemarie.

The family will receive friends at Walton-Schrader Funeral Home on Monday, January 4, 2016, from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
