Obituary for Eleanor Louise Parsons Eleanor Louise Parsons, age 77, of Maryville, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Eleanor was born on June 1, 1941 in Wallingford, CT. She is the daughter of the late Arthur and Florence Jones nee Miller.

She was united in marriage to Charles Parsons in 1991 in West Palm Beach, FL. Eleanor and Charles moved to Maryville, TN in 2005. Eleanor had a zest for life and was passionate about arts and crafts.

Her hobbies included making quilts from scratch, also knitting and embroidery. She enjoyed sharing those gifts with family and friends. Most of all Eleanor cherished the time spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Florence Jones, sister, Jean Hanisko, and brother, Art Jones. She is survived by her husband, Charles Parsons of Maryville, TN, two sons, Robert Scranton and wife Lisa of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Todd Scranton and wife Dawn of West Palm Beach, FL, step-son David Parsons and wife Wanda of Union, MO, step-daughter Heather Perry and husband Eric of Boynton Beach, FL, 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters Bobbie Dubar and Lorraine Morehouse of Wallingford, CT; three brothers, Richard Jones of Hudson, FL, Walter Jones of Wallingford, CT and Les Jones of North Carolina; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
