On October 27, 2018 Eleanor “Rose” Svec (nee Sheckells) loving wife of the late Joseph C. Svec, Sr.; devoted mother Joseph C. Svec, Jr. and his wife Margaret, Sue Gossman, Pat Root and her husband Bob, Lora Dawson and her husband Chris, Sheri Dawson and her husband Jeff and the late Helen and John Kahlert; beloved daughter of the late John O. and Mary Martha “Mattie” Sheckells (nee Thompson); cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 12 older brothers and sisters. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 6420 East Pratt Street Baltimore MD, 21224, on Wednesday at 10 am. A visitation will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Es, 300 Mace Avenue, on Tuesday from 3-5, 7-9pm. Interment at Holly hill memorial Gardens.
