OBITUARY Eleanor Z. Skutt April 27, 1921 – December 15, 2018 Eleanor Z. Skutt, Auntie,was born on April 27, 1921 in Lansing, the daughter of Albert Ray and Mary (Shafley) Wells, and passed away December 15, 2018 at the age of 97. Eleanor and Currin spent over 52 years together at their cottage, then home at Holland Lake. She will always be remembered for having cookies in the cookie jar at all times and bringing her amazing pies to family functions.

Eleanor never had a bad word to say about anyone and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Currin; parents, Ray and Mary Wells; brother, Bill and nephews, Bob and Dick Wells. Eleanor is survived by nephew, Gary Wells of Duck Lake; nieces, Sherry Wells of Lansing, Linda Wells of Beaverton, OR; great nieces and nephews, Chad (Dylynn) and their children, Madalyn and Kylee, Ricci Bartlett (Dale) and their children, David, Ashley, Cole and Dillon and Todd Wells (Melissa) and their children Donovan, Isabel and Riley.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 1730 East Grand River Ave. , East Lansing. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 19th at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Interment at Deepdale Memorial Gardens in Lansing. On line condolences can be shared with the family at www. greastlansing.com.
