Elena A. Mejia was born on January 19, 1934 in La Granja Aurora Santa Ana Pco. GTO, Mexico. She passed away on December 31, 2018.

She was married to Sr. Jose M. Mejia Vazquez, with which she formed a beautiful family of 11 children: Martha Guadalupe, Maltilde, Ma. Dolores, Arturo, Marcial, Ma. Norma, Maria del Rocio, Jose Angel, Luz Elena and Claudia Mirella Mejia Augirre.

She immigrated in the year of 1978 and became an American citizen in hopes of bringing all her children to the U.S. She was a excellent mother, hardworking and determined with the dream of uniting her family, a family which she educated with many values. She has 34 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren that cry and suffer over her passing Viewing Wednesday evening, Jan.

2, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. Funeral services Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 11am.
