Obituary Elgin M. Reed, age 103 of Durand, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Elgin was born on February 24, 1916 in Harrison, Michigan to the late David and Mary (Olney) Nedry.

She married Duane Reed in Marion Springs on September 5, 1936. He later passed on August 8, 2009. Mrs. Reed enjoyed knitting, gardening and square dancing in her earlier years.
