Elinor Louise Wearstler Bacon, 86, of Jonesville, VA was born in Marlboro, OH and passed away on May 19, 2019 at the Wexford House in Kingsport, TN. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Jonesville. She had retired from J.R. Hoe & Son of Middlesboro, KY after a career of over 40 years.

Elinor was preceded in death by her husband, Kemp Bacon, daughter, Reba Allen, parents, Harry and Mary Wearstler, brother, Richard Wearstler, and sisters, Beverly Shaffer and Shirley Carter. She is survived by two daughters, Terry (Jackie) Hensley and Gail (Roger) Waddell; two granddaughters, Rachel Cole and Rebecca (Berry) Maggard; two great-grandsons, Graham Maggard and David Cole; brother, Jack Wearstler; sister, Carol Wearstler; son-in-law, David Allen; a special friend, Susie Bledsoe; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA with Rev.

Bobby McPherson officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery for services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 631 Texas Drive, Jonesville, VA 24263.
