It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Elizabeth Pavliscsak (Kelley), age 73, who passed away at her home in Ashford on July 23, 2018. Elizabeth, better known as Betty, was born in West Haven, CT on August 9th, 1944. Her parents Charles and Grace Kelley moved to Bridgeport, CT where they raised fifteen children.

After graduating High School Betty started working at SNET in Bridgeport, where she started as an operator then progressed to management. In November of 1967, Betty married Edward Pavliscsak of Bridgeport and together they moved to Trumbull to raise their three children. Betty was a devoted and loving mother to her children; Shirley, Edward, James, and a stepdaughter Katie.

After retiring from SNET after 30 years, Betty moved to Ashford, CT to be closer to her sons Edward and James, and her daughter in law Robin. Spending her remaining years being close to her children and five grandsons, Betty also became involved in the Living Proof Church in Ashford. Betty was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to all, as well as a lifelong Yankees fan and an avid reader.

Betty is survived by sons Edward and James, daughter Shirley, Step daughter Katie, and daughter in law Robin. She also is survived by eight grandchildren, her remaining brothers and sisters, and countless friends. The family will not have a church service, instead they will have a celebration of her life in August.
