Betz, Sr.; devoted mother of Elizabeth F. Carter and her husband Leslie J., Barbara A. Rappold, and Allen G. Betz, Jr. and his wife Karen F.; loving grandmother of Jeffrey M. Carter and his wife Lisa M., Michele M. Carter, Michael A. Carter, Sr. and his wife Cris A., Paul M. Rappold, Rae-Lyn Rappold, Renee J. McBride and her husband Bill M., Christy Brinegar and her husband Larry, Jennifer M. Betz and her friend Chris P. Brown, and Allen G. Betz, III; cherished great-grandmother of Lauren E., Brooke M., Michael A., Jr., Brennan T., and Landon C. Carter, Megan E. and Lucas M. McBride, Corey A. and Nicholas A. Rappold, Ryan T., and Ethan W. Brinegar, Shawn A., and Mason C. Brown; dear great-great-grandmother of Adrien N. Rappold; beloved aunt of Joe and Bert Dahle. Betty is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd. , Nottingham, MD 21236, on Sunday, December 23, 2018, from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral mass will be held on Monday at 10am at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 10 Willow Ave.
