Obituary for Elizabeth “Betty” Keiffer Elizabeth “Betty” Keiffer, 84, of St. Albans passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. She was born in Charleston to the late James Franklin and Elizabeth Golden Cauley Cobern. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, William D. “Shorty” Keiffer.

Elizabeth was a homemaker and a member of the Highlawn Presbyterian Church, St. Albans. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star # 79, St. Albans. A graduate of St. Albans High School, class of 1951.

She was also a regular attendee of the City of St. Albans council meetings until she became ill. Surviving are her sons, Denny Keiffer (Kim) of St. Albans and Jim Keiffer (Cathy) of Brentwood, TN. Also surviving are her loving grandchildren, April Plourde (Jason), J.R. Keiffer, Mike Keiffer (Erica), Scott Keiffer, Bradley Keiffer, Brian Keiffer and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans with the Rev. Nancy Didway officiating. Entombment will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
