Obituary for Elizabeth C. Cosh Print UNIONVILLE, N.Y. — Elizabeth C. Cosh passed away peacefully at home, in the presence of her family, on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, at the age of 92. Elizabeth “Libby” was born in Quarryville, the daughter of Perl D. and Magurite K. She married Arthur W. Cosh on Oct.

22, 1944, at the Methodist Parsonage near Sus. After 72 years of marriage, Art passed away in February 2017. She was also predeceased her brother, Delmar D., and by her sister, Lois B. Libby is survived by sons John, Gary and Stephen; four grandchildren, John Jr., April, Lanson and Savannah; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Together, Art and Libby raised three sons (all born at home) on the dairy, beef, and forage crop farms they operated in the town of Minisink, N.Y., for more than 60 years. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 6, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third St., Sus.

A memorial service will follow at noon, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the American Cancer Society, www. cancer.org; Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, www.
