Obituary for Elizabeth Holland Redden Elizabeth Holland Redden, 92, passed away in Apple Valley, CA the morning of June 21, 2018. Libby was born October 20, 1925 in Biloxi, MS, the youngest child of Bertram and Marguerite (Baltar) Holland. She was an accomplished secretary, working for Barq’s Bottling Company.

After marriage in 1946 to Robert L. Redden and a move to the West Coast, she worked for the California Division of Highways. Together they raised their children, JoAnne (John) Rutter, Patricia (Robert) McClure and Robert J. (Patricia) Redden. She was a devoted mother, avid golfer, and dedicated volunteer with the Diocesan Center at Holy Rosary Cathedral in San Bernardino.

She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 69 years, Robert, and grandson, Christopher Rutter. She is survived by her children, her grandchildren Rebecca, Carolyn, Jonathon, Nicholas and Linnea, and great-grandchildren Jerusha, Jack and Gidget. Her funeral will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Desert Catholic Church, 18386 Corwin Road, Apple Valley, CA on July 16th with a Rosary at 9:30am followed by Mass at 10am.

Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral, 870 Howard Ave, Biloxi, MS, or to Cambridge in America, Christopher Rutter Memorial Fund.
