OBITUARY Elizabeth Iverson July 24, 1938 – October 27, 2018 Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Elizabeth (Webster) Iverson passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in Clovis, California at the age of 80. Elizabeth was born on July 24, 1938 in Sao Paulo, Brazil to her parents, Warren Debs Webster and Sarah Vasques Madeira. She was their only child.

Elizabeth’s mother passed away on July 15, 1942, when Elizabeth was almost four years old. Her father then married Willis Quillin in 1944. Elizabeth loved her Savior, Jesus Christ, and his Gospel.

She joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rio Claro, Sao Paulo, Brazil when she was 12 years old. She served faithfully in many Church callings throughout her life. Elizabeth and her family immigrated to the United States in the summer of 1952.

They settled in Southern California, but later moved to San Francisco. It was there that she met the love of her life and her future husband, Jan Albert Iverson. Elizabeth and Jan were married on September 3, 1960 in the Los Angeles, California Temple.

They had three children, Jana, Jon, and Brent. Elizabeth was a very kind, loving, generous, and thoughtful person. She loved her family very much.

She was an avid reader. She especially enjoyed mystery novels. She also enjoyed working on her family history.

Elizabeth and her husband, Jan, served in their local Family History Center for many years. Elizabeth loved to knit and crochet. She made many beautiful blankets for family and friends throughout the years.

Elizabeth worked for Chevron Corporation in the Stock Transfer Department in San Francisco for over 20 years and retired in 1998. Elizabeth’s beloved husband, Jan, passed away on April 29, 2009. She is survived by her three children: Jana Last (Brent, Clovis, CA), Jon Iverson (Julie, Studio City, CA), Brent Iverson (Cindy, Martinez, CA).

Elizabeth also leaves behind eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two brothers, Edwin Webster, and Sidney Webster. Services: Visitation: 11:00 am.

Funeral: 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1880 Gettysburg Ave, Clovis, CA. Interment: 12:30 pm Monday, November 5, Oakmont Cemetery in Lafayette, CA. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.
