Elizabeth’s Obituary Elizabeth “Beth” Rustem Frankenmuth, MI Went home with her Lord on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at her home, with family by her side, age 93 years. Elizabeth Harrison was born in Port Huron, MI on October 17, 1925 to the late Russell and Inez Harrison. She was married to Gerald W. Rustem in Port Huron on September 6, 1947; he predeceased her on August 14, 2012.

Elizabeth graduated from Hurley School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She was employed by Frankenmuth Convalescent Center until her retirement. Elizabeth was a member of Bridgeport Community Church, Women in Christ, Ladies Guild, Bridgeport Area Food Pantry and the Professional Nurses Association of Frankenmuth.

Surviving are children: William (Brenda) Rustem, Loren Rustem, Charles (Donna) Rustem, Raymond (Anita) Rustem, Kathryn (Stanley) Krajkowski, Christine (Tom) Spendlove; 20 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Rustem, a son, Rodney Rustem and a daughter-in-law, Jonalyn Rustem. Funeral services will take place on Monday May 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Bridgeport Community Church, 3821 State St., Bridgeport.

Elizabeth’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St., on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Ron Sinclair will officiate with burial to take place at Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Bridgeport Community Church or Bridgeport Area Food Pantry. The Rustem family would like to thank Connie Coulter, Wellspring Hospice; Visiting Angels, Lisa, Marie and Nell.
