Elizabeth “Lizzie” Rega (nee Coletta), 92, a proud lifelong resident of Downtown, Jersey City, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family at her side on Friday, November 30, 2018. Elizabeth was a member of The Holy Rosary Senior’s of Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City. She enjoyed cooking at Coletta’s family owned restaurant in Downtown, Jersey City.

Elizabeth was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Rega who passed away in 1970; dear sister of the late Nicholas, John, Paul, Fiore, Alfred, Anna and Josephine Coletta and Filomena Puccio; loving aunt of Joseph “Wiggles” Coletta, Stella & Michael Santopietro and many other nieces and nephews; also survived by her loving caregiver Debbie. Visitation is on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, 3:00pm to 8:00pm at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd. , Jersey City, NJ 07306.

Funeral will begin on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, 10:00am at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will follow 11:00am at Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City. Interment will take place at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Church, 344 6th St., Jersey City, NJ 07302.
