Elizabeth Nutini August 15, 1932 – February 01, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Elizabeth Lucille Nutini (nee O’Dwyer), 86, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Friendship Village in Schaumburg, Illinois. Elizabeth was the devoted and loving wife of the late Louis G. Nutini. Cherished daughter of the late William E. O’Dwyer and Henrietta Grosnick Zickuhr O’Dwyer.

Beloved mother of Linda (Rodger) Nutini Foreman and William (Laura) Nutini. Dearest sister of the late William R. O’Dwyer and sister-in-law of the late Patricia O’Dwyer, the late Lilly Lombardo, and the late Lena Nutini. Treasured grandmother of Jennifer, Brian, Samantha and Cassandra, and great-grandmother of Samantha, Jaiden and Tyler.

Fond aunt of twelve nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was born at Augustana Hospital in Chicago, Illinois on August 15, 1932 and was a graduate of Lakeview High School. Elizabeth married Louis Nutini on October 6, 1956 and celebrated 48 years together until his death in 2004.

She continued to live in Chicago until December 2012, when she moved to assisted living at Friendship Village. Elizabeth was first and foremost a family person. She loved to participate in family gatherings, celebrations and other occasions, and usually had a camera ready to capture the moment.

She insisted on a parochial education for her children and always did the best she could for them. As a dedicated nurturer, Elizabeth spent many years helping to care for her grandchildren, parents, and most notably as a stalwart champion and health caretaker for her husband Louis. Elizabeth was laid to rest near her parents, husband and infant children at Irving Park Cemetery in Chicago.
