OBITUARY Mrs. Elizabeth O’Cain Richardson December 17, 1925 – October 19, 2018 Elizabeth O’Cain Richardson, 92, widow of Richard Charles Richardson Jr., of Charleston, South Carolina went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, October 19, 2018. Elizabeth was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina on December 17, 1925 to the late John Laurie and Clara Kimbrel O’Cain. Elizabeth graduated from Orangeburg School of Nursing where she worked as a Registered Nurse prior to devoting her time to raising her Family.

She was a lifelong member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church where she dedicated her time and talents to Altar Guild and Young at Heart. She faithfully volunteered at Lutheran Social Services. She enjoyed cooking and gardening but she was the happiest when she was spending time with her beloved family and friends.

She was a very special lady who was loved by all. She is survived by her two daughters, Anne Hyams (George) of Charleston and Peggy Moore (Gregg) of St. Louis, MO, 5 grandchildren, Melissa (Clint), Vincent (Lisa), Bradley (Chelsey), Rebecca (Kyle), and Morgan (Brandon), and 7 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by 4 brothers, Caroll O’Cain, Norman O’Cain, Billy E. O’Cain, and Johnny O’Cain.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Shirley Grant and her staff, all the Caregivers of Ashley Gardens and Lutheran Hospice. The family will receive friends Tuesday October 23, 2018 from 10 AM to 11AM at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 1150 E Montague Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405 , with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11AM. Burial will immediately follow at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery in North Charleston.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in her honor to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 1150 E Montague Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405. Services entrusted to Carolina Memorial Park Funerals and Cremations, 7113 Rivers Ave North Charleston, SC 29406, 843-797-2222.
