Elizabeth’s Obituary Elizabeth Theone Hammack, 89 of Dunbar, received her angel wings on April 23, 2019. She was born to the late Allen and Exie Criner. She was a member of the Dunbar First Church of God, where she served faithfully in various leadership positions over the years.

She was a homemaker and well known for her pie baking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Hammack; an infant son, Gary Wayne Hammack; sister, Beatrice Eads; and brother, John W. Criner. Theone is survived by daughters, Donna Legg (Jeb) of Lakeland, FL, Teresa Lewis (Tom) of Teays Valley, Pam Crites (Ron) of Liberty; grandchildren Bryan Legg (Cheri) of Lakeland, FL, Christa DeWitt (Sam) of Bartow, FL, Stephen Lewis (Ashley) of Greenwood, MO, Benjamin Lewis of Hurricane, Jeremy Crites (Jessica) and Joshua Crites (fiancee’ Emily Goodwin) of Liberty; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Avery, and Addyson Legg, Landon, Parker, Easton and Adler Lewis, Jace and Jayden Crites; sisters-in-law, Othel Criner of Frostproof, FL, and Ouida Deweese of New Lenox, IL.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 28 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with the Rev. Billy Roe and Rev. Bryan Legg officiating.

Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation be made to Dunbar First Church of God, 1234 Payne Ave.
