Obituary for Elizabeth Wade Bryant Elizabeth Wade “Betty Ann” Bryant was born September 29, 1932 and went to her eternal rest on April 24, 2018. She was the daughter of James R. Wade and Madge Davis. She grew up in Charleston and attended Charleston High School.

She retired from Charleston County. Betty Ann was involved in many civic organizations including Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of Confederacy, and Colonial Dames of the Confederacy 17th Chapter. She was past president of the West Ashley Jaycettes and on the Florence Crittenton Home Board.

She was an active member of the French Huguenot Church. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence A. Bryant, Sr She is predeceased by her son, Lawrence Alton “Skip” Bryant, Jr.; her parents, James R. Wade and Madge Davis; and her grandparents, Richard and Annie Wade.
