Elizabeth Ann Phillips of Mount Laurel (formerly of Tabernacle) passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018, at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly. She was 78 years old. Elizabeth was born on December 20, 1939, and was one of 14 children.

She was a quiet person who enjoyed cats, gardening, drawing, making crafts, relaxing in her chair, playing solitaire, and watching television. Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents Alonzo Sr. and Dorothy Phillips (nee Wells); her brothers Howard, William, Alonzo Jr., Robert and Ruben; and her sisters Dorothy Eltonhead and Rachel Priest. She is survived by her brothers Harry of Winslow, ME, Ronald (Rose) of Vineland, NJ, and Warren (Sue) of Travelers Rest, SC; and her sisters Beatrice Bachman of Wall, NJ, Gladys Pyle of Mount Laurel, NJ, and Patsy Phillips of Vineland, NJ.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. At Elizabeth’s request, she will be cremated and laid to rest at her mother’s feet in Junior Mechanics Cemetery of Tabernacle in a private ceremony.
