Ella Fay (Cross) Ray, 85, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday January 24, 2019, at home. She was born November 12, 1933 in Irwin, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Norma E. (Ament) Cross and was also preceded in death by her husband Raymond B. Ray; her daughter Kimberly Staigvil, and siblings Donald Cross, Charlene Kennedy, and Robert Cross. She was a longtime active member of Miller United Methodist Church, North Versailles where she had served as president of the Women’s Society and a Sunday School teacher and youth advisor.

She was also a former Girl Scout leader. She is survived by her daughter Darlene Givan of North Huntingdon; her grandchildren Lori Fay (Louis) Pasquale of Greensburg, Shira Rhea Dreistadt of Irwin, and Kayla Marie Staigvil of Pittsburgh; her great grandsons Brandon Charles Graft and Blake Alan Dreistadt; also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev.

Timothy Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to Pet Friends Inc., P.O. Box 484, Irwin, PA 15642.
