OBITUARY Ella SNOW April 1, 1916 – February 5, 2019 Louise Snow resident of Gardendale, Alabama passed away on February 5, 2019. Born on April 1, 1916, she always joked that it must be an April Fool’s joke because no one could live as long as she did. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert (Bob) F. Snow, and their infant daughter, who died at childbirth.

Although Louise didn’t have any children of her own, she acted as Mother and Grandmother to many who loved her. She selflessly taught ceramics to a number of children, and adults, and always showed love and tenderness. Her life was a gift to those who knew her and loved her.

Louise lived alone since Bob died in 1997, and she couldn’t have done that without the loving attention given to her by her friend and caretaker, Sandra Franklin. A graveside service will be Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 2 pm at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
